Welcome to the blog!!
We're Blogging!!
We’re very excited to introduce the Bambino Blog - a place where we can delve a little more deeply into pregnancy topics and anything else that takes our fancy and we think you’d enjoy! As always, we'll be providing evidence based information and scouring our sources for the latest guidance so you don't have to. We thought we'd start by taking a moment to see how we got here and Bambino Club came to be…
A few years ago three midwife pals were at work chatting about antenatal education. They’d all enjoyed teaching this over the years but felt that something was missing and they weren’t able to run classes as they’d really like to. They discussed the bits they’d thought were great, the things they didn't, and what they’d do if they could create their own supreme classes. They soon realised they had very similar views on the aspects they felt were most important and the ethos they’d want to create. So they decided to get to work brainstorming, and over many fantastic Bambino brunches (big shout out to Tom and Scott for some epic cooking!) they designed the ultimate antenatal course (AKA Bambino Club!).
Fast forward a few years, two babies and a COVID pandemic and here we are!
We couldn’t be happier to see our carefully planned classes become a reality and we’re so excited to share them with you!
Our courses run over 5 consecutive weeks and cover everything you need to prepare you for labour, birth and beyond. With a background in maternity research, our classes are evidence based and accurate, whilst being taught in a social and relaxed environment. We have ensured the classes are interactive, fun, have a strong focus on wellbeing, and allow time for questions and discussion.
We currently have classes in South East London (Beckenham, Chislehurst & Orpington), Norfolk and Ipswich. To book onto one of our courses head to the ‘Book’ page, or if you have any questions then please get in touch via the ‘Contact Us’ link - we’d love to hear from you!
A festive pic just before we started hatching our plans back in 2018!
